John Zorn was born in Houston, and as a child played piano, guitar and flute.
Just after releasing albums on several independent and Asian labels, Allen signed with the Elektra-Nonesuch label and attracted wide acclaim in 1986 with our interpretations of cinema composed by Coltrane, the album Buy Cheap Cialis in 1990 and the first album by Naked City in 2000.
Early minor compositions included a lot of "game pieces", in which performers are not allowed to improvise while following certain structural rules. |
